India-based Shreeji Rajendra Diamond Classes (SRDC) has changed its name to the International Institute of Gemology (IIG), reflecting the global focus of its educational courses, Rapaport reported.
Its new location is Panchratna Building in the Opera House area of Mumbai.
“The new avatar of our prestigious institute, IIG, represents our efforts to provide each student with the latest in international training and technology, so that the gems and jewelry industry, a heritage sector of India, may be on par with global standards,” said IIG managing director Rahul Desai.
