According to a statement by World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), the 2018 World Diamond Congress will take place in Mumbai in late October.
The meeting of the WFDB and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA), which happens every two years to discuss industry issues, was originally scheduled for June in Tel Aviv. It was eventually cancelled due to low registration, citing geopolitical tension in the region as a possible factor.
“We look forward to meeting all the WFDB and IDMA presidents and their delegations, as well as members of the entire diamond pipeline,” said WFDB president Ernie Blom.
