Digital online marketplace TrueFacet partnered with seven luxury brands and will offer secondhand jewellery and watches directly to consumers, reports Rapaport.
TrueFacet lists pieces from Zenith, Roberto Coin, Raymond Weil, Fendi Timepieces, Faberge, Frederique Constant and Ernst Benz, previously owned and inspected and afterwards refurbished by the brands. A certificate of authenticity as well as a one-year manufacturer’s warranty are enclosed to the purchase, the item is shipped directly to the consumer.
As said by TrueFacet, that enables the brands to keep control over the products’ positioning within the secondhand market, while still offering consumers lower prices.
“The solution brings to the jewelry and watch industry a solution that has proven to work wonders for the brand-certified, pre-owned car market,” the retailer said. “TrueFacet at once offers another way to satisfy young, affluent consumers’ appetite for authentic luxury items, at lower prices in the pre-owned market, with complete transparent sourcing direct from the original brand.”
